“I saw that you were perfect, and so I loved you. Then I saw that you were not perfect and I loved you even more.”
Some images I made in 2015…
44 Stanley is Joburg’s best kept secret.
The 44 Stanley site was once a series of industrial 1930′s buildings, and has been developed into a collection of specialty boutiques, foodie stops and design studios. Meander through the shady arcades and courtyards to savor the trees, architecture and gorgeous fare; from food, clothing and toys to antiques and interiors. The ambiance is a relaxed, friendly and refreshing mix of quintessential Johannesburg elements.

Meeting up with Adele and Tony at the St John’s College in Johannesburg was a fantastic experience. Walking the corridors of this Herbert Baker designed masterpiece, reminded me of the rich heritage we as South Africans have. Today is tomorrows’ history. Shooting for this lovely couple felt a little like preserving pieces of their very special story. The photographic medium is an expert in capturing fragments of time often missed. I’m presenting 15 Frames in the life of Adele + Tony, already part of that which we call history…
Shooting for Elida + Louw at Eau-La-La Art & Trends Café on a very hot South African day was beyond epic. Their easygoing attitude reflects in every picture. In 3 months’ time I will be shooting their wedding. Happiness!! This was also the first Couple shoot where I had the Canon 6D on location. Great little machine.
