My first wedding with the acclaimed photographer, Hannes Uys. I woke up with a slight knot just below my heart. Often opportunity comes with risking something…in this case, my pride…Looking back now, it was one of the most enjoyable weddings I have ever photographed. Part because Hannes is such a relaxed personality but most of all Ronald & Joely’s hospitality. It is often said that South Africans are welcoming in nature. That is until you meet the beautiful people from China. I experienced that a smile can reach deeper than most words. A simple gesture with a powerful effect.
